Incredible Neighbors and A Few of My Favorite Things

271So we get back from vacation and 4 days later I come down with strep–for the 4th time in 5 months. It doesn’t ever come on the weekdays so I’ve spent weekends at the local urgent care, which brings me to one of my favorite things. How can urgent care be one of my favorite things? Because if you go often enough the doctors get to know you- AND if you go at the right times (right when they open on Sat or Sun morning), its painless and quick. They have a rapid strep test on site and antibiotics to boot. Just tell Secure Medical Care that Lisa sent you. Ha. Secure Medical Care is located on Baltimore Ave, about a mile down the road from Ikea. Does anyone else in Cheverly have recommendations for a close urgent care center? If so, please let us know in the comment section.

While I was down and out with the strep I found a note on my door from what I’m going to call an ‘incredible neighbor’, even though I don’t know him yet… I guess this man had a birthday and he did, in fact, throw a big party. Fun, right? My ‘incredible neighbor’ was kind enough to leave a friendly note explaining that we might hear moderate noise  and that he would try to keep it to an “acceptabe level” and that we should not hesitate to call or text or email if we see it as an issue. Now that’s a great Cheverly neighbor. I hope to make it over to his house once I recover and thank him in person. That’s just another reason why I Choose Cheverly.

  1. He throws that party every year – and every year sends out a note. Wish one year it would include an invite because it looks like a fun time!
