I continue to be amazed by how many activities our town hosts every weekend. My schedule could be completely booked with Cheverly related events and meetings. Being a Christian, I love that my neighbors, of all faiths and backgrounds, have a desire to serve one another. It’s a beautiful thing when you receive an email on our Cheverly listserv encouraging people to join the “Cheverly Village”. Cheverly Village is a new organization that will coordinate volunteers and other supports “so that residents could age in place and continue to contribute as valued members of the community.” Retiring and growing old in Cheverly is a great option.
On another note, if you are the creative type and are a member of CPRC, you should start the pumpkin carving now. Winners could grab a gift card to shop at the Market. Tonight both of our local schools are hosting activities, we have the Market tomorrow and of course, soccer games. Just more and more reasons why I Choose Cheverly.
