I don’t feel like chicken tonight- I feel like chili tonight. And how about you? Chili will be available in our town tonight at the Cheverly United Methodist Church. If you don’t know your neighbors, come and meet some of the long timers. I did it last year. If you don’t feel like talking to anyone and just want to watch the State of the Union on our couch, come to the church and get chili take-out. It’s available. Either way, this is a great way to get out of cooking, support a good cause and have homemade chili. (all you can eat) The details for this fun evening are below- and if you can’t make it tonight, pencil in the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper on Feb 17th. We have a great community church. Come out and show them your support.
Tomorrow is CUMC’s annual chili supper! No need to cook- instead head to CUMC (in Fogle Hall on the 3rd floor) between 5:30 and 7:30. There will be meat and vegetarian chili, corn bread, garden salad, drinks and desserts. Carry out is also available.
Adults – $12
Children 4-11 – $5
Infants/Toddlers 0-3 – FREE
