So… Welcome to my ever changing (still in process) living room. I HATE buying anything full price. It’s a rare occasion that I will allow myself to purchase something new and/or expensive. Why? Because we live next door to one of the most fabulous thrift stores ever. In fact, almost all the clothes/toys I purchase for my boys is from Value Village. They have multiple locations, one only a 5 minute drive from us. One of my favorite ways to spend a day off from work is to go thrift shopping and because most of the items above are from thrifty stores, I thought I’d share the wealth. I hope to be completely finished with this living room in a couple of months–and when it is finished I will share the before and after pictures.

Off white floral antique couch- Craigslist, Georgetown

Turquoise wing back chair- Joss and Main

Clock on top of fireplace mantel – Keller’s Antiques in Old Town Bowie

Sconces that I still need candles for- Fireside Antiques in Old Town Bowie

Painting above mantel- One Kings Lane, Erin Gregory painting

Blue L Shaped Sectional- Cheverly List Serv!

Gray Couch that Abel Olivio helped me move in- Annapolis Consignment store called Echoes and Accents

Pink Rug- Evolution Home, Furniture Consignment store in Alexandria

Gold Federal Clock- Free! My parents.

Jute Rug- Overstock.com

I am definitely not an interior decorator which is why these projects take forever. Anyone out there willing to share a before/after home decorating project?
