It took me a few years to finally to make it over to the Bladensburg Waterfront Park. I drove by it all the time to get to my parents house in University Park and yet I had no idea how close it was to Cheverly. What a treasure! Did you know that they have free pontoon boat tours? Head over for lunch at noon starting this month from Tuesday- Friday and then again on the weekends starting in May. I’m so excited about the weather warming up and being able to head outside for these fun local activities. For more outdoor ideas (including the Waterfront Park), check out this post for families from The Washington Post.
