So today, on my 42nd year of life, I could not be more thankful for the town of Cheverly. I know, some people might find that strange that I am so crazy about the place in which I live. That’s ok. I don’t think you could understand unless you live here. (on a side note, I spoke to two realtors lately who told me that Cheverly is not ‘hot’ and it’s mainly because of the schools. I mean, who would want to live in Prince George’s County?) I’m here to tell you that I believe Cheverly is one of the best places on earth. I posted a number of pics above to tell my story. They might not mean much to you, but what they say to me is RELATIONSHIPS. My heart is overflowing today because of the relationships I have in my precious town and all of the deep sincere familial friendships my kids are able to have by simply living in Cheverly. My neighbors take care of me. They care. They not only ask how we are doing but they know that I need a backpack for my child so they drop one off by my front door and fill it with clothes. Why? Because that’s what they do. We share our lives together. And they don’t only do this for their neighbors, they care for refugees. (which is going to be an upcoming post) Anyhow, I’m grateful for you today, my neighbors and friends. Thank you for loving our family so well!
I love that you let a bunch of boys swing a baseball bat at a pinata INSIDE YOUR HOUSE! LOL! Just more evidence of how we live on the wild side here in the Chev! haha! 😉 Happy birthday, Lisa!
And we are all so grateful for you, dear friend! Love you!!
